madeover is a platform: we build your website, run it and keep it up to date. You don't get a website-builder account and you don't get a project plan — you get a finished website and a login where you change texts and images yourself.
How we work
Every website runs on the same technical foundation — its own database, its own login, its own domain. Whatever we improve once, everyone gets. That is why a website here does not cost five figures.
A two-sentence prompt produces a website that looks like two sentences. So we work out the brief first, then AI builds the draft — and a human reviews it before it reaches you. Wherever we use AI-generated images, it says so on the image.
Servers in Germany, analytics without cookies, fonts served locally. No service that sends your visitors' data to the US. That is why your website does not need a consent dialog.
Why madeover exists
I have been building websites for small businesses since 2018. One at a time, by hand, each one from scratch.
The problem was always the same, whichever client it was: for what a trade business or a practice can spend on this, the numbers never really worked. Either you do it fast, and then it is not worth much. Or you do it well, and then nobody can afford it.
Alongside that I built software people work with eight hours a day. That teaches you to build systems instead of one-offs.
What changed in 2026 is AI. Not because it makes good websites. But because the part that broke the numbers now takes less time. That is why madeover exists: the same work as in the eight years before, this time with a system behind it that carries it.
Who runs madeover
I am Ole Beekmann, a designer from Hamburg, and madeover is mine. I studied communication design – typography, layout, concept. Then came agencies, then in-house product teams, then my own studio: betaform, specialising in complex software for companies.
Software people work with eight hours a day does not forgive decoration. Either it is understandable straight away, or someone calls support. That work is where the principle behind madeover comes from: not designing every website from zero, but building a system each one comes out of.
At madeover I decide how the websites look and what belongs in them. Every draft crosses my desk before you see it – including the one the AI built. The system handles the rest.
My yardstick is not the first impression. What holds up once the excitement about the new thing is gone? What still works in two years, when nobody is standing next to it explaining it? A website that only convinces on launch day has missed its job.
