Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know first.
Answered briefly and honestly. Can't find your question? Just write to us — we reply personally.
Sometimes the old site is thin, sometimes the copy isn't ideal. We ask once if something's missing — otherwise we rephrase, trim, restructure. If nothing about the draft convinces you, you stop. You only pay once you go live.
We handle the full build — text, images, structure, hosting, domain transfer, SEO. If we have a question, we'll send you a short email. After that you maintain content and smaller tweaks yourself, easily and without any tech — and if you need help, we're here.
You get the website draft shortly. Overall you go live within 7 business days. Good work takes a few days — we check every result before we send it to you.
Servers in Germany, no US CDNs, no Google Fonts, no external tracking without consent. Cookie banner only if actually needed. We prepare your privacy policy and imprint for you.
No one can promise you'll show up in every AI answer tomorrow — the field is young. What we do is lay the groundwork properly: clean structure, structured data (schema.org), readable text, correct meta information. The same foundation Google rewards — and that AI search engines need to understand and cite your website.
Yes — at the end of the 12-month minimum term, which is the same for every plan. After that your site continues on the operating rate of €59 per month and can be cancelled monthly. Your domain and your content (text, images, logo) are always yours — you take them with you. If you cancel, the site goes offline.
From month 13 you automatically move to the operating plan — €59 a month. That includes hosting, security updates, maintenance and minor changes. Larger rebuilds we do on a fixed-price basis.
Yes. Your existing website stays online while we work on the new version. We build your new website separately from it. Only once you have approved the draft and everything is prepared does the new website go live.
Normally not, or only very briefly. The switch is prepared so that your website stays reachable with as little interruption as possible. With domain or DNS changes there can still be short transition periods for technical reasons. We tell you beforehand what happens and when the best time for the switch is.
After the first draft you can submit change requests. Our aim isn't to leave you alone with a draft. At the same time, Madeover only works if the process stays lean.
If you're looking for a completely custom website with many concept phases, workshops and open design rounds, a traditional agency is probably a better fit.
Yes, in principle you can keep your existing domain. Your email addresses usually don't need to change either. The only important thing is that we know in good time where your domain and email are currently managed.
We don't change anything without asking and explain in advance what's necessary.
Real people. AI can support us in the process, for example with structure, analysis, text ideas or first variants. But the evaluation, design, adjustment and quality assurance don't happen automatically.
Your website isn't simply spat out by a generator. Madeover uses a lean process, but the draft is reviewed, adjusted and built deliberately for your business.
Before go-live we check your new website on the most important points: display on desktop and smartphone, an understandable structure, clear contact options, basic technical functions, loading behaviour, data-protection building blocks and a clean handover.
Only then does the website go live.
We build the website so that data protection and accessibility are considered from the start. This includes technical foundations, a clear structure, good readability, mobile usability and the inclusion of the necessary legal texts.
We cannot guarantee full legal compliance. That requires an individual legal review. If you work in a regulated field or have particularly high requirements, we recommend an additional review by a suitable specialist.
The catch is: Madeover isn't meant for every project.
We're fast because the process is clearly bounded. We start with your existing website, take over existing content as the basis and modernise your presence from it. That's something different from a months-long brand process with workshops, a photo shoot, a copy concept, a strategy phase and many open coordination rounds.
For many companies that's exactly an advantage: less effort, clear costs, fast delivery. But if you're looking for maximum individuality, many special features or a completely open creative process, Madeover probably isn't a fit.
Yes — as an assistant, not a replacement. We create the first design draft of your website with AI support; a designer then reworks, corrects and approves it before you ever see it. In day-to-day operation, AI helps with image descriptions (accessibility), SEO copy and the English translation; in your CMS it improves your texts on request. Those models run at Mistral in France (EU) — without training on your data. Every suggestion is reviewed by a human before going live.
We prefer your real photos — from your old website or provided by you. If suitable images are missing, we create custom visuals for you (AI-generated, clearly labelled) — no stock photos. As soon as you have your own photos, we simply swap them in.
We specialise in owner-run professions — anywhere people google you before they call or book. That includes law firms and tax advisors, medical and dental practices, physiotherapists and alternative practitioners, architecture and engineering offices, consulting and coaching, as well as trades and construction. We tailor content, structure and tone to your field. Your profession not on the list? Just ask — it fits in almost every case.
Still have a question? Write to us — we reply personally, no sales pitch.
